Google Analytics is one of the most known tracking systems for an understanding website or app performance. Less extracts data containing hits, source, and medium as well as some AdWords data (if applicable).
Less’ will not use data transferred from Google API’s (as with any other Less data source) unless explicitly requested by the client. Less thus comply with Google API Services User Data Policy.
🚨 Note that you can add a Google Analytics Connector for every page/app you’re tracking. So if you have one for your website and one for your application then just add two separate Connectors. You can customize the name of the Connector at the top of the Connector configuration window.
Most organizations that we’ve worked with use Google Analytics data as part of their marketing funnel, but the possibilities are many. One example is that you might want to track if performance (session length) differs by different sources.
Google Analytics can be a little bit complex if you’ve never seen the Google Analytics interface. Every step should be covered below but if you want you’re more than welcome to schedule a call.
